I guitar player who loves playing classic Spingsteen. Would you be willing to tell me how I can achieve his guitar tone? I have a 52 reissue tele already. Can you tell me what kind of amp, cabinet, and overdrive pedal you use to achieve Springsteen^s killer tone early into his career!

Hey Matt. Great outdoor show in Richmond last night (as always), even though the weather was not so good. I was one of the few to your right that knew the words to the real oldies (Spirit ,For You, Blinded). I think you appreciated that. I^ve seen you all many times – at The State in Falls Church and at Toads in R-VA. The Richmond audience will continue to grow. Around 7/4 and late Aug. are typically ghost-town-ish around here. Did you say you^ll play at The National in R-VA soon? I^ll talk it up!! Can^t wait to see you guys again!!

Read this in your best Frank Barrone voice. Holy crap! Holy crap! Saw you at the Fraze. I have seen Springstgeen a blue millions times in every place except the Meadow Lands and I CANNOT get over your show. I actual forgot several times you weren^t really Bruce. Great set. Increadable show. I never would have believed it.
I will be watching for future dates.
Only thing I would look for an faded red hat and lose the black one.

I met you , having a smoke before the show at the Imperial Palace.
You were in the show with Brian Duprey, Celine Dion, Prince, etc…
I live in Pigeon Forge, TN my Daughter is a performer in one of the many theaters here.
This town is a performers dream, with theaters, shows, resteraunts, Dollywood (not a joke check it out), and even a Temptations review and Legends Theater called Memories.
I am thinking of coming up to one of your shows in VA on the 22nd. I was telling my son , if you want to go see Bruce, Go see Matt……

PS this town needs a theater where performs like yourself could od a week, or a month at a time and keep a high percentage of the door.
You would packem in!!!
You could do well here and it a short day drive for you to see the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and meet a few people.
I could hook you up with some local Theater owners when you are here.
